What we collect
If you contact us through the form on this page, we collect your name, email address, and the role, organisation and message you choose to give us. If you buy or download a course, our store provider collects the details needed to complete that order. If you join our email list, we hold your name, email address and the audience group you belong to.
Why we collect it, and on what basis
- To reply to your enquiry and provide anything you have asked for. This is necessary to take steps at your request and to perform our contract with you.
- To send you course material and occasional updates, where you have consented. You can withdraw that consent at any time using the unsubscribe link in any email.
- To keep proper business records, which is our legal obligation.
We do not sell your details, we do not share them for anyone else's marketing, and we do not use automated decision-making or profiling.
Who processes your data for us
- Netlify hosts this website and receives form submissions.
- MailerLite manages our email list and sends our emails.
- Payhip runs our store and course delivery, with payments taken by Stripe and PayPal. We never see or hold your full card details.
- Zoho Mail hosts our email.
Some of these providers operate outside the United Kingdom. Where they do, transfers are covered by the safeguards those providers put in place, such as standard contractual clauses.
How long we keep it
Enquiries are kept for up to two years after our last contact. Email list entries are kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to remove you. Order records are kept for six years, as tax law requires.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, object to how we use it, or ask us to restrict that use. Write to hello@eomilconsultancy.com and we will respond within one month. If you are not satisfied with our response you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
Cookies
This site sets no advertising or tracking cookies of its own. Our email provider may set a cookie to recognise you if you have subscribed. Our store provider sets the cookies needed for a purchase to work, and does so on its own pages.
